In 1940, Timmins began illustrating stories for the Canadian magazine Maclean’s.  Over an 8 year period, he illustrated 22 stories for Maclean’s, a relatively low volume.  Further, 7 of those illustrations were for the serial Turn Back The Clock. Timmins final major story illustrations were for Maclean’s, and one gets a sense of the evolution of his style in this post-Collier’s era work.  The images presented below are highly processed scans available on the web, which I cleaned up a bit.  Physical copies of Maclean’s appear not to be available in western US libraries.  Some detail may be missing in what is presented below…  Story text has been removed for a cleaner presentation.
